Namaskarams from SIFAA team! For the year 2023-2024 SIFAA is happy to announce 4 concerts for advanced students from NC to foray into Pallavi rendering. SIFAA will provide professional stage, audio and the needed infrastructure similar to any SIFAA premier concert.

This is a SIFAA sponsored event.
Guidelines:

- The concert must be 45 minutes with Ragam/Thanam/Pallavi rendition.
- Applications will be accepted till 10/08/2023.
- Students are requested to provide a strong recommendation letter from their teacher to be considered for these slots. Letter must be sent directly to sifaa.music@gmail.com
- Priority will be given to those who did not get a chance to participate in other SIFAA events (to avoid repeated performances).
- We plan to host one concert per quarter. Sifaa may club this concert in conjunction with NC Artist concerts to utilize the infrastructure.
- We request artists to utilize accompanists from our area, SIFAA will help facilitate.
- In the event we don’t receive applications we will open these slots to our members/general NC based artists.
- SIFAA will remunerate the artists based on the grants/funding allotment to these initiatives.
- In the event of multiple applications, which meets all the guidelines. SIFAA will utilize “First come First Serve” basis. Where application date will be considered as the priority to slot the events.
Guidelines for Accompaniments
Accompanists must have experience in accompanying concerts of the length (1hrs plus).
SIFAA will provide your details to the artists to facilitate the program accompaniments.
SIFAA may allocate accompanists to the programs.
SIFAA will work with artists to make sure that all the accompanists get atleast one chance in the community programs.
In the event of few accompanist’s applications, SIFAA may revert to inviting out of state artists to full fill the program needs.
